The tips in the recipe were perfect and the baking time was just right.  I opted for the lower carb route, but my husband put a little warmed honey on is and he went crazy over them.  By the way, he is a captive on this paleo diet and a confirmed sugar addict.  He has been on the wagon 4 months now.  That day before icing seems like too much trouble to me, but I am NOT a baker.   The cream cheese icing was also not an option for me, as I am totally dairy free.  I LOVE this recipe and will make more of these muffins and also try it with little less almond flour in a paleo pie crust!
